The word crystal comes from the Greek word krystallos, meaning frozen light, and the way that they refract light is powerful.

I love the look and feel of a beautifully cut crystal prism and always have one hanging in at least one room of the house. Crystals have been used over the centuries for a myriad of purposes – from healing to protection to decoration. In feng shui, crystals are widely used for the specific energy, or the vibrations they bring to your home or office, with one single goal – to create good feng shui energy.
I recently found a set of gorgeous 4cm Swarovsky prisms, and have made them into unique suncatchers for the home or garden. Each one is 48cm long, fashioned out of Japanese glass, semi precious stones and silver.
