This January, I decided to start a fun art project called The Farmstand Alphabet. I would begin at A, and then paint my way down the alphabet until I arrived at the letter Z before December.
A is for Apples, B for Blueberries, C for Chickens… I’m having a blast with it, and have just finished the letter D.
D for Delphinium!
I absolutely love delphiniums, and the electric blues, purples and violets are some of the most unbelievable colours in any garden. Some of the plants can grow to five feet or more, and they’re an old-fashioned flower that belongs in any traditional or cottage garden.
