I’m thrilled to have two original watercolours featured in the upcoming Peace and Trust exhibition at the Federation Gallery in Vancouver, opening on May 17th.
We are exhibiting pieces that tackle peace, trust, political dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation. This could be symbolically through an abstract piece, or literally though figurative works that grapple with concepts of trust, landscapes that promote peaceful feeling.
I selected two paintings to enter that express aspects of the human-animal relationship that is so important to me. Is there any deeper peace and trust than in the connection between us and our animal companions?
