Vancouver Island is a festival goers paradise, and one of the top festival destinations of the summer is the Parksville Beach Festival, host of the Canadian International Sandsculpting Competition. The festival runs for one month, with a host of concerts and special events running along side the sand sculpting main event.
Art in the Park is one of the headlining events this year, with dozens of artists exhibiting their work along the beautiful Parksville oceanfront at Parksville Community Park. Guess what? I’ll be one of the artists in the park on July 29th and 30th, and I’ll be showing my original paintings as well as jewellery, garden art, and art cards. I’ll even have original hand-tied herb bundles for sale, as well as my hand grown teas and herb blends. Who knows? Maybe I’ll even bring along a couple of chickens.
If you’re in the Oceanside area at the end of the month, drop by and see me on the waterfront. I’d love to chat with you!
